Who I am

I’m Daniel Nowak. I fix how revenue and operations actually run — and then apply AI where it compounds.

I didn’t arrive at AI from engineering. I arrived from operations: eighteen years of them, thirteen spent running restaurants, conference floors and hotel F&B departments in Poland and Ireland. In that world a broken process isn’t a slide in a deck. It’s a room full of people waiting for their food, and you find out within the hour.

That taught me the thing I still sell today: the bottleneck is almost never the tool. It’s the handoff.

I do that work independently through DNA4Digital, and as Associate Partner at Yameo — a Dutch-Polish enterprise software house — when a client needs the system built as well as designed.

Why I do this

I moved into tech in 2021, and I kept noticing the same thing from the inside that I’d seen from the kitchen pass: companies buying tools to solve problems that were never tool problems. Technology without business context doesn’t fix anything — it just relocates the mess and makes it faster. So I work the other way round: process first, then automation, then AI.

My story. Thirteen years in hospitality operations: opening a café and bakery in Donegal National Park, running four F&B outlets and 600 covers a day at the Royal Marine, rebuilding a hotel restaurant into a takeaway business in the first weeks of COVID with nothing but Facebook, Google Ads and a redrawn menu. Along the way I learned SOPs, forecasting, margin control, and what happens to a team when the process is unclear.

In 2021 I joined TTEC as a Google Ads account manager. Promoted to POD Lead in four months, then to Team Leader running Google Customer Solutions for Poland and CZ/SK, as a TTEC vendor partner. That team finished #1 for revenue globally, and I took the Platinum Club award for best manager in EMEA. I also held a 5/5 employee satisfaction score for four straight quarters — nobody left, and that protected the margin.

Then I went technical. At Sensay, an AI SaaS company, I stopped selling and started building: migrating legacy systems into HubSpot, enriching the data with Breeze Intelligence, engineering automated sequences in n8n and Zapier, and assembling Looker Studio dashboards that merged CRM, product and website analytics. Funnel engagement went up fivefold.

At SpotOn I ran client operations for a restaurant-tech platform, and the same pattern held: audit the workflows, automate the right ones, cut ticket handling time by 30%, and rebuild the SOPs so the answers live somewhere other than in people’s heads. Which, given where I started, felt like the circle closing.

I’m now Associate Partner at Yameo, a Dutch–Polish software house that has been building enterprise systems for banking, insurance and healthcare since 2006. That partnership matters for one practical reason: when the work I’ve mapped needs engineers to build it, I have a team behind me that ships on fixed price, fixed date and a signed SLA. Most independent consultants have to hand you a plan and wish you luck.

Why work with me

No “AI magic,” and no pretending the tool is the answer. You get a transparent plan, fast pilots, and effects you can measure: time back, cleaner data, revenue that moves. You also get me — not a pitch team followed by a delivery team you’ve never met. I’m a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with a Machine Learning with Python certification, which is a strange combination and exactly the point.

What I stand for

Simplicity — if a process can’t be explained in one page, it won’t be followed.
Accountability — I name the number, the baseline and the timeframe. Every time.
Partnership — I only teach what I’ve run myself, in a live business, with consequences.

The arc

Hospitality taught me operations. Google taught me scale. Sensay taught me to build the thing instead of just specifying it. Yameo means I can now build the ones that are too big for one person.

How I work

From diagnosis to rollout and scale — without chaos, and without burning out your team.

1. Audit & process map

I map how work actually moves, not how the org chart says it does. Bottlenecks, handoffs, duplicated fields, the workarounds everyone has quietly built. You get the friction ranked by what it costs you.

2. Pilot & training

We test on live examples with your data, I train the people who’ll run it, and we pick tools that fit the process rather than the other way round.

3. Implementation & scale

Standards, SOPs, KPIs and dashboards, so the improvement survives after I’ve gone.

Three things I’m actually good at

Eighteen years of operations across hospitality, BPO and SaaS — applied to marketing, sales, customer operations and back-office.

Go-to-market & RevOps

Funnel and pipeline design, qualification rules, handoffs, CRM architecture and reporting. I’ve built intent-driven prospecting off ICP and buyer-persona mapping, run A/B tests across outbound cadences that lifted engagement 18%, and migrated a legacy stack into a unified HubSpot instance that C-level could actually read. Tools: HubSpot, Salesforce, Breeze Intelligence, Looker Studio.

Process architecture & operations

Mapping, standardisation, ownership, SOPs, KPIs and quality control. This is the Lean Six Sigma half — unglamorous, and the half that decides whether anything else works. Most “AI problems” turn out to be undocumented processes wearing a costume.

AI enablement & automation

Low-code architecture in n8n and Zapier, AI-enhanced training programmes, internal troubleshooting chatbots, e-commerce sales assistants and concierge bots. Plus the governance nobody wants to write: internal SOPs, GDPR data-sharing agreements, and a framework that keeps your analytics integrations defensible.

Daniel Nowak is an Associate Partner at Yameo B.V. Where a client engagement leads to software delivery by Yameo, I have a commercial interest in that work. I’ll tell you that in the first conversation, not the fifth.
